Back to School

Back to school backpacks for inner communities grade schools. We believe every student deserves to feel confident to start a new school year. We want for them to be prepared so they can thrive in the classroom.

Food and Hygiene

Food and hygiene packages for homeless communities so they can continue to be nourished and provide them with hope of new opportunities.

Comfort

Comfort packages for Children’s hospital ER department and Blood Drawn laboratory rooms. We want to help reduce fear and anxiety and to provide a presence of comfort to the children going through rehabilitation and treatments.

Care

Care Packages for the brave military service personnel. We want to honor those who work hard every day to protect and defend our country and our continued freedom.

About Us

We are a group of student volunteers coming together with a common vision to connect with the Oakland community and beyond. Our focus is volunteerism to better the underserved communities around us, through community services and fundraising for charitable and honorable causes. We work on many exciting projects and initiatives to help improve the lives of others, and we are proud of the progress we continue to make. Our History

Package of Compassion is a 501(C) non-profit organization focused on lending a helping hand through simple actions. Since the Covid-19 pandemic of 2020, our work has encompassed a wide range of outreach efforts, from providing much needed essentials to unhoused individuals in the Bay Area – to delivering care packages to Military Service Members stationed in bases in the United States and abroad. The aim of Package of Compassion is to connect with communities that are oftentimes overlooked and to create a bridge between students and individuals who are in need of uplifting.

Package of Compassion’s essential goal is to extend our individual reaches by working together to help those in need. We believe an unexpected gift of kindness can make a large impact. We desire to bring a smile to people’s faces and hope to their heart.
